Going to look at a Carrera Kraken, should be able to get it for a couple of hundred. It'll do for a while until I can upgrade again

Keith a mate of mine bought a krakken at Xmas time got it for £400 brand new and I can report it's a cracking wee bike hes only starting out but rides pretty hard and it's sticking it very well. The only trouble he's had is the clarks brakes seem to need a bit more looking after but other than that everythings been fine really good well made bike.

Happy days, just picked mine up. Seems well built and pretty good components for the money. My only worry is that it doesn't feel that light but I read somewhere that the rims are quite heavy so I'll maybe change them.
I'll be out on Friday afternoon again if anyone fancies it

Yeah rockfall, new (ish) bike already lol. The other one just couldn't hack the pace, got it serviced and it felt like it needed another one after today so couldn't resist an upgrade.
Don't know if I'll make it out any evening because of work but if things change I'll let you know. Will definitely be out at the weekend though. Jack showed me some trails I haven't been on before this morning so we can hit those next time we're out.
Jack, I found that guy on eBay you were telling me about earlier. Thanks for that

If i'm a good boy i'll be out friday afternoon" booked whole day off work but not missus and kids 
" so be looking around 1'ish at the Pitstop. but wont be out agian till the monday and thats a defo trailfairying day.

I'm trying to grab this bank holiday monday with both hands as I'm off and the missus isn't so there will be no complaints about me spending all day on the bike. With that in mind is anyone heading up HT etc this Monday (7th May)? Been up there once before and not really sure where stuff was so would be good to have a guide and I'll try not to hold you's up.

Was up today for a spin. Very slippy in places but good crack and found some more stuff. Should be a lot better by Sunday if it stays dry until then
