Most of it is totally off-road but the first couple of miles from and to my house is either footpath or cycle lanes. And there are walkers along the coastal path at Bangor. All pretty scenic tho!
Its all pretty gentle stuff though - I was out yesterday afternoon and met absolutley no one in the woods!
I'll tag along too the next time your out if thats ok? Sounds pretty good! Just let me know when, I have two weeks off over xmas, a long needed break, so any day during the week will be good!
Looking at a DH bike with SRAM X5 serailleur on it, but I have read reveiws that say that they are unreliable and break very easily.
Has anyone used them?
What are your experiences?
Thanks
what cassette, rear mech, front mech, handle bars/stem, seat post has it got?
has it got an ISCG mount on the frame for a chain device?
has it had much abuse? Many scratches?
cheers..
I attended the Irish DH champs at Kilbroney Park, in Rostrevor.
Photos from the day are available thru my website

Anyone that bought shots on teh day can email...
Most know of the Cycle To Work scheme, most large companies offer the scheme and many many riders have bought bikes at roughly 40% off the RRP on it.
Thew way the scheme works is pretty...
