Went to school with a girl who had a pet goat. Next day it was in her sandwich.

They kinda sound like they're going bleh bleh mleh.... bit like a lot of posts around this place.

Dunno what that makes the rest of us.... we read them, and often reply.. Sheep maybe?

Texal sheep make a very strange noise, they sound like a sheep, but sheep that can speak english but its just drunk and talking gibberish, also they sound like they smoke 60 a day. Strange but true!

I was in tunisia where we went on camels in the sahara desert. Later that night we were eating what tasted like beef/venison type thing. Yep...turned out to be camel. Just felt wrong like you were eating your horse/pet. Cleaned the plate though

I've always advised my children that it's meh-eh-eh and they've grown up very well attuned to distinguishing the sound of an approaching goat from the general bleating of ambient sheep.

I ate Alpaca and Lambas when I was in Peru nearly goats I'd say. But the Guniea Pig was the award winner for me. Came out with the head and legs still on before the Chef quartered the little bugger for our delight.

Roast kangaroo is nice but a really strong meat. Emu is a lot nicer imo. The only time I've had camel it was almost ironically dry. Croc ain't bad either, and ostrich is wonderful!
