After a pretty hard sprint, Remy ABSALON (Commencal Oxbow) passed the finish line before René WILDHABER (Scott)! It is 8:15 am, some curious onlookers eye up far away, in the direction of Roche Plate, La Nouvelle, les Orangers. The trip in the top of MAIDO continues to attract the tourists, of sunday and the walkers. But at the beginning of this sunny morning, Mountain bikes invaded the place. At some metres of the belvedere, the riders of the Megavalanche take out the bikes of the trucks, then converge to the departure line.

Remy was riding his team Issue Commencal Supreme6 (http://www.realcycles.com/products.php?plid=m1b58s1p777&tbv=COMMENCAL_Supreme6_Team_Edition_Bikes_MTB_-_Full_Suspension)

That race is awesome, held on a tiny French island in the Pacific, mass start from the top of a Volcano, race to the beach.

I love the babelfish translation. For example "All will indeed have to extricate themselves as quickly as possible from the mass just after the departure...", or "The pilot of the ACPR has indeed the privilege to be installed at his side on the departure area", or even "I broke my chain" will tell Florent who give a furious kick in this treacherous bicycle!!"

I don't fancy a treacherous bicycle much!
