We have recently changed the way you join MTBrider. The main reason for this is to stop the spammers. They are becoming increasingly sophisticated in the way they auto join forums, so we have intorduced a final stage to joining to stop them.
Previously all you did was sign up online, wait for the email to be sent to your email address, reply to it and then you were in. Now once you have replied to the automated email you have to wait for final approval by a mod. It's easy to spot the spammers by the email addresses they use so we can just cancel their accounts and approve the proper ones. Once your accouns is approved you'll get another email telling you your account is now up and working.
If you get an email telling you your account has been cancelled (ie, we thought you were a spammer) please email info@mtbrider.com and we'll sort it out.
Sorry for this extra level of joining, but it's for the better of all users. Final approval should take no more than 48hrs.
