Good XC Trails for beginners?

Hello MTB,

Just got myself a bike looking to get into a bit of cross country trail riding type stuff.

Any suggestions of a good trail to start of on, I live in Belfast so somewhere near-ish would be great.

Belvoir is always a good place to start.

check out www.trailbadger.com, that's the site to find out about where all the trails are.

Keep an eye out on the rides section as some of us go round there regular, can show you some trails

If you fancy a road trip the bluebells trails at the quarry on the way into Warrenpoint is a GREAT place to start. Nice and shaded so you don't overheat and lots of fire trails and exploring awaits!
