You should try the national nps in Djouce while you are there, its 3mins down the road and far better singel trail, The Epic lads have been hard at it fine tunining the course over the last week or so.Ballinastoe is ok but Djouce has the best xc trail in ireland. Check it out you wont be disapointed.

Yeh really looking forward to the champs. My first race in 5 years and if Djouce really is better than Balinastoe then its bound to be a great day's riding.

D, i'm working Friday night duty, if you decide Saturday is best, it would be 9am before i'd be home and changed and ready to go ....
Sunday i'm easy, any time would suit.

Busy spot today

Trails in great shape.

Some very fast runs.

Looks like a monthly one coming!

Fire extinguishers to the ready!

Spot on!

Good to see refugees also. ( dislogded Nothern riders with on real trails in Northern Ireland)

I'm hoping to get there in about 3 weeks. Think it will be worthwhile?

Finest trails in the land.

A real mini Kiroughtree

Worth 2 loops.

30 min break.

Sounds good. Haven't decided if I should take the 5"er or the ht yet, it's going to have to be my only bike for a week.

How long roughly to do a loop?

Ballinastoe used to be my favourite track in the country, but after the XC champs at Djouce woods just down the road, I'm not sure now. I'm sure if you were keen you could tie the two together, but Djouce has some of the most fun single track i've ever ridden. Great day out.

hi Miki, thanks for coming..you only saw a portion of the best part of Djouce today !! there are several other unbelievably brilliant sections in Djouce, better than anything you'll even see on Europe !!
