I've had a thought.
Would anyone be interested in having a weekend away at the upcoming champs at Rostrevor? Weekend of 13/14th August? Compete in the race, make a weekend of it, get some accommodation or camp???
I know a few would like to race, I certainly would. So, how would be up for it?
Cheers

Is this on the mad rocky course or the other one? The moon scape one is the only course I have actually found the wee hardtail hugely out of its depth

oh monty monty monty...
dare i ask what age you are? I'm sure there're plenty of people here that could give you a lift down if thats the problem. If you're not allowed because it might be dangerous, its no more dangerous than any other sunday ride. Plenty of medics and supporters to help you by.

My only concern is being able to ride the course. Will try to get up there as much as I can between now and then. Maybe some of the racing folk can shed some light on that.
Hopefully we can get a group to head down, think it would be a great weekend away

You'll be fine colin, youve rode all the trails in there before and theres chicken lines where necessary. Really the track doesnt have to be declared until the day before for practice. But anyone who knows rostrevor are aware of the two tracks raced. It will be one or the other.
