Gary, dare I ask what happened???
At least tell us it was bike related! I am hoping to get a wee run up today while it's still dry.

Yeh Clint, is was bike related. Came down the run at Forbidden and did the gap jump (yeh ha) at the end, then pulled a skid at the
bottom to turn right of the river and the back wheel caught and high sided me into the stone wall. Twisted my ankle and it hurts
like feck. Might get out Sunday night, see how ankle is.

Jack ever think of using a winch to pull trees out of the way? You can get one for about £20 that will pull a tonne. Chap used one a few weeks back to pull my motorhome out when it got stuck. I was quite impressed.

might be on for a run in the morning from 9.30 till 11.00 back at C'burn if that fits in.

Dragged my aching body out today and had a great run through LW, HT and the Tesco Run from the back of the tower, then the usual Blackwood, Crawfordsburn and Ballyholme finish.

Initially I was still feeling the effects of the Scottish Epic but it soon wore off and I had a grand day out. :)Trails are really nice ( wee bit of mud in the usual places from yesterdays rain), weather was superb and I hardly saw another soul!

Lost a pair of sunglasses somewhere along the route though :-(

Me likey this MTB malarky!:D

Hi folks, do you know if there is plans to move the tree on the run from the Tower down to the golf club. I can across it yesterday and it sucks. I love that wee trail. If there is I can lend a hand some night

I think someone was going to borrow a chainsaw but if it doesn't get moved I might just build it up as a jump or a shore ramp as it seem's pretty solid.

I can borrow one from my dad. It is just using it and not getting caught by golf club, baliff or whoever.

It is pretty open spot to build something like that. Somebody jobsworth would wreck all your hard work. imo

I've me new saw and i may have a wee trim on wednesday, just fill in the gap between them and a bit of shovel work would be grand
