hi there, the bearings in your frame are probably a bit worn.Ive an 06 elite and have had to get the bearings serviced twice since i got it.Its probably best to get the bearings serviced soon as continuing to ride it might damage the pivot axles as well. Most bike shops will service the pivots for £30-£60

hey sawmonkey, hes only had the frame built up for around 3 months, its a 2007 frame but was never used before him, according to tinkerhill, theres a bit of play in the top pivot on the front triangle, the bottom pivot is 100%, theres about 5mm play in the pivot front and back.

Cheers for the info, will give the tips a go and see what the result is. hopefully it works well. im still a bit of a newbee and when it come to all that technical stuff im lost! i normally make things worse when i reach for a spanner.... seriously.

cheers

Give me a shout up and I will look at it for you. Sounds like something loose as the frame was brand new !
