When you were all getting back home from Rostrevor I was just getting started into this. I'm in texas with work but managed to find a bike rental place and get onto some trails on my day off.

Trail Head :

Some nice singletrack the whole way round

Trail goes across the river so its bike on the back time (like the guy in the picture you can just about make out), and get the shoes wet

Stumbled across some climbers which was cool to watch

Anyway there was some sweet rocky descents but I was having too much fun to take pics so I only got the gay ones when i was munching down on the trail food.

It was good but no rostrevor, though better than sitting in the hotel room watching cable. Hope you all enjoyed RT......see youse at Christmas.

It was fine for those trails but if I was for bringing it home I'd shorten the stem as the steering was a bit skittery tbh, and maybe go to 140/150 up front (not sure what those fox were didn;t even look). Rear suspension was pretty sweet, with a quick flickable propedal switch for the "climbs" (no big ones).

It was nice to be on something lighter compared to the g-spot for mild XC trails, as it was pretty rocky in places it was a perfect bike for that particular trail. But it won't be replacing the g-spot for riding back home.
