It may be time to lay it to rest.

I have the number of the offending party if you want to take it out on them. I know you must be very upset. I mean, you loved that bike so much. She just didnt love you as much as she loved me, but still, I know you had feelings.

Lets all just take a moment.

I'm sure Steveb will be along shortly to tell us how he would have been travelling faster down the road & also could have out-manoeuvred the car

But in the meantime, glad you made it out alive BK even if the bike had to sacrifice itself

You are keeping the bike industry going single handed.

U can replace the bike BK, just glad ur not wrecked or broken in bits to be honest mate. Heal well my roadie friend!!

Near got cleaned by the vacuum of a very close passing bus tis noon on way home from work, am i glad there was no cars behind it as it sucked me out onto the road as it past.
Also a guy from work had to rush home this evening as his wee girl was knocked of her bike, havent heard how she is but hoping she ok. (thats three from or something to do with our work in the past year) Not nice at all..

Is the Trek going cheap? ;)

There's something in the air today. I near got creamed on the way home, heard him coming, knew he couldn't make the gap he was going for, heard him lock up...clench up and hang on...but no thud. Phew.

Sorry to hear of the spill, curious to know what happens next...do you get money of their insurance for the bike, or what happens? Only wondering as I've had a close one every day this week so far, so its only a matter of time til it's my turn.

Man up ya big poof.

You only say that because you have never lost a bike you had any affection for.

Or was that directed at chucky's late night drunk posting?

Hope everything is still in full working order BK! Does this mean you will have to lie up for a while ? There are some clowns out there on the roads when it comes to cyclists !

Don't show too much affection for a bike (http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/scotland/glasgow_and_west/7095134.stm)

Bike looked fine today, apart from it being a Trek. (Although if you replace the stickers with Colnago, I'm sure the insurers will take SteveB's word that it is).
