Very nice - what size is the frame?

Thanks for the comments...most of them anyway :P
Its a medium frame. Head/steerer angle is slack so it makes the top tube short. Other bike is a 14.5" Chucker and the Reign "feels" the same size.
I'm 5'10".

Well, I expect you'll be doing some aggressive all mountain mini dh freeride lite on that yoke?

Another Reign!
They are spreading like Swine Flu :)
Looks a bit more rad DH freeride than mine.

To be honest it looks exactly like my reign!! Mine is going to change colour sometime shortly though!! Great bike though Willie, highly recommended!

I would quite fancy a reign x frame myself, I have started to see alot of them around which makes me think they ride well and dont snap after a year
Whats the average weight of a full build?

dont snap after a year
What bikes have you come across that snap after a year?

Just been out for a good hammer around Castlewellan XC loop on the new yoke. Was with a couple of first timers so we were taking it easy. I did manage to do the bomb-hole for the first time though, closely followed by a mate who let go at the top and managed to land feet first ontop of his bike.
Had a great night's craic, them came home, washing the bike, bike rolled back and I scratched the freshly powder coated frame, about 5" long on the side of the top tube. Quite miffed, but sure...I'll maybe stop treating it like a baby now. May try masking/blowing it in, or cover with a sticker, haven't decided.
I've been riding hardtails for a brave while, and I found that with the Reign you've really got to stay in the saddle for climbing. As soon as you stand you'll bob like a hallion. Slightly frustrating as I like to keep the seat low most of the time, and just stand and pedal hard when needed. Don't want to have to keep sitting every time I want to climb (Unless its a long climb up when I'll put the seat up).
As for weight, I was going to build it with XTR and the lightest bits I could, but I took a notion of just wanting it finished, so mine mightn't be the lightest example around. I'm running Mavic Deetrax, and double ply 2.7 high rollers, so its a bit of a brute. On the scales in the workshop its about 16.5-17kg. I'd say you could quite easily shave 2kg from that with lighter cranks, lighter wheels & tyres and a lighter fork. To get it below 14-15kg though, I think would start to get very expensive.
I'm up for any mini downhill freeride whateverness I can get. I don't really have any "style" of mountain biking, I just try to get over whatever is infront of me without coming off. Haven't done too many hairy drops/jumps. How does the bomb-hole at C'wellan rate on the scale of scariness?

Id still be calling that particular bomb hole 'xc' (if Im thinking of the right one), cant really drop it like the one in tolly either, alot shorter. Get the rein into tollymore to give it a more fitting testing. Its a little more aggressive over there if thats what your looking for :)
Excellent bike anyway, enjoy!

Problem is, I know the trail at Castlewellan, but I'd need someone to show me round Tollymore. The bomb-hole I'm talking about is about 7-8ft (A 6ft lad standing at the bottom can't see the top), but isn't really a drop, more a really steep face with a could of roots across it to wake you up. It looks pretty scarey. I find at night I can ride scary stuff quite easily as if you can't see it, it doesn't frighten you.
Our next planned outing is the end of the month, and we're looking somewhere to have a bit of fun (Other lad has a Big Hit). We were thinking Cavehill, but on a Saturday morning it'll likely be covered with walkers. I'd like somewhere with a few drops, maybe a jump or two and some bumpy stuff to hoon about on. Any suggestions? Tollymore? We only go out for about 5 or 6hours usually, but could do longer if its worth it.

Cavehill isnt to bad with concerns to walkers on a sat ... 99% of them stick to the paths ..wrere as you will be off the beaten track.
It is very slippy tho but still very enjoyable if you dont mind getting dirty.
What year is she willie btw ...? 2009 ?

yep thats the one, keep an eye out on the rides forum on here as there is usually an organised outing every other week to tolly. The trails there are more climb to the top and bomb down a constant decent instead of the climb to the top via the fireroad and then down - up - down - up - down to the bottom :-/ Castlewellan's good for some hardtail training/fitness but tolly is a good bit more fun if you're out for a few hours IMO

Thanks for the advice. I'll maybe try to hook up with someone who knows Tolly and give it a go then. Quite keen to try some bumpier stuff, the new bike just makes me feel like I can ride over anything.
Not sure exactly what year it is, but think the frame is 2007/8. Don't really know as it has different bearings that normal, so its hard to place. Most other stuff is new.
My first bike with hydraulic brakes...its so nice to ride something that you can stop with one finger. They're only Hayes 9s, but they're plenty good enough for me.

Id rather not say, and it was more of a crack than a snap
New frame under warranty so its all good
