Hi guys I've updated some info about the Blast on our site, heres the link
http://www.epicmtb.com/forums/showthread.php?p=64735#post64735
if you are looking for accomadation, theres loads in the area.
Roundwood is only a stones throw away southwards, and Enniskerry is only a few miles back the way near Bray.
Enniskerry is a very nice Village, with a couple of good restaurants and Pubs, I'm not as familiar with Roundwood, Bray is only down the road, but its a grubby seaside town in my opinion.
Theres an official Campsite in Roundwood too..its a good one but i don't know if its still open in September.
Camping is not permitted in Coillte lands, they ( quite rightly so) have a fear of fires.
I will be up there every evening after Monday next week and i'll also be there on the Saturday 12th, so I can give you the gist of what the track is like. I like to keep it a surprise as I'll only build some of the features on the Saturday, due to the nature of Ballinastoe being a official trail centre, they'll all be pulled down that evening, we can't have goobers snotting themselves when we're not watching them.
Cheers Richie

Sounds good, do you have a tractor handy to tow people out of the field, Experience in motorbike paddocks tells me its usually required

A couple of us have had to bail out of this. There's now a twin room available in Roundwood in a pretty sweet looking b&b right in the center of the town. Said to the lady I'd stick it on here to try and get it booked for her again since she sounded nice, and it was a bit late notice. There's a garage for locking up the bikes at night.

Nope conor not going to make it this year, was all set for it, had the above place booked but somethings came up, looks to be a good weekend weather wise. Its not the place we stayed last year as that was booked out.

**** one mate, was looking forward to meeting up again down there.
Me and Chucky are heading down sat morn to do a lap of the trail centre then heading out for some Guinness in Roundwood on Sat night. Not booked a place yet. Gonig to ring the place we were at last year, did the job rightly.
