Does anyone know there way around here. I was up there this morning, parked at the lake and followed the path down into the Forest. The view is unreal up there.
I didn't go any further than the felled tree as i didn't know where the trail would take me. Is there a loop that can take you back to the car park at the lake (without too much pedalling lol)?
Any help appreciated.

Yeah, I go up regulary. If you hop over the tree you can go on down the trail which then leads into the forest. If you do the full run can pedal for about 2mins to a gate there is tail beside here. I don't usually go any further than this but there are some more trails i've heard of (never done them though). We usually park half way to the lake so there's not too much pedalling to the top or after the trail. Yeah the cliff path has amazing views but one slip up and yer dead :P. Did you see anyone else there this morning/afternoon?

When you get into the trees, it gets steep, wet and technical. Last time I was in (about 6 months ago) there were a lot of felled trees over the main line, but you can ride round a few. There is a trail that will take you back towards ballycarton, you use a few fire roads to traverse towards limavady and short trails connect the fireroads. The most direct way to the top again is the route they use for the hillclimb race, a pretty brutal climb.
