View Full Version : May I borrow a spare rear wheel to race anyone?

Possibility I could race at Rostrevor this weekend, but unfortunately I can't afford to race and get a new wheel in time...so, can anyone lend me a rear wheel for the race?(durable for a bit of DH obviously) I know there could be bother with the wheel not being perfectly true, but really anything would be better than what I've got at the minute, I really don't think it could take a weekends racing at Rostrevor! lol

And any damages that are incurred through me shall be paid for asap, but I won't be pushing super hard on someone elses gear anyway, just really want to race cus I've only got to do the Winter Series race at Scalp this year so far.

What do you need james? 12mm bolt or QR? 150mm or 135mm?

I think that if you speak nicely to Lindsay he might be able to lend you an S-Type

Was going to ask him but figured he'd has single ply tubeless already on them and didn't wasnt to ruin them becasue of my hardcore DH style riding you see lol. But yeah, I figured if he had any spare he'd say on here anyway.

swap them out with your uber manly DH tubes and worn out high rollers :-)

Got the whole 'sunday' thing going on :(
Really wanted to hit the fire-road gap though! :) I remeber being up a few years ago to watch(maybe '06, the athertons were there!) and the fire-road gap looked sweet!!
Will make an effort to get up and watch though, might bring the camera too to get a few shots of you on the podium ;)

How come your still back over here! Hows uni going anyway? Any nice riding? Figured out what bike your getting yet!?

Looks like I'll just be obliterating my own wheel this weekend Kev! lol. Still have to see if the funds have come through for this entry fee now!
