I've and older (07) one and would gladly give an unbiased and fair comparison if someone (cough, SteveB, cough!) would let me demo a new one for a few days...

Yeah I have an 07 and was sort of thinking the same thing, purely in the name of reaearch you understand....

09's almost all sold out. We had a demo in, but have now sold it!

New one feels more DH than the old one.

Must say, I never particularly liked the look of the supreme in pics, but having seen them in the flesh (and had the bounce round the car park), they're a cracking looking bike. The kawasaki green metas are fantastic looking too.

I reckon if you went fast enough, and pulled up the front pretty hard, the new one would ride over the old one fairly easily, as long as it was lying down of course.
