Whats the worst injury you've ever had on a mountain bike, mines not to bad, broken hand and part of my wrist. :P
broke me neck about 12 years ago, compression fracture in c6 n 7 at sleivenora, ran wide at a hairpin fliped over and landed across back me shoulders, walked about for 2 days before going to casulaty, then s**t hit the fan and panic set in::yikes::

Broken ankle...
Which is an absolute bollox as I had never broken anything before that, so I didn't have a baldy what it felt like.. so I took a break and then rode on for a while, adrenaline and peer pressure forcing me on :). Next morning I couldnt walk atall, but it was a sunday so I lay in bed all day. Next day i was in absolute agony, but could walk.. and then it slowly started getting easier to walk on, so I though fine, this is clearing up, must not be bad.
After about a month, it was still sore so I went into the doctors.. he told me that it had been broken and I should have came to him striaght away because he could have put a cast on it and treated it properly, instead of me leaving it to try and heal itself which had meant it will never be half as strong as it should be!
Which is pure piss caus now when I hit any big drops or land a jump wrong it frigging kills!
(Btw, if anyone knows of any decent ankle braces could they tell me!)

Was that that failed test flight of the jump we made beside the stepdown in scalp? That was a pretty awkward crash.
erm, havent broken anything as of ever so far; my pedal had a gnaw at the back of my knee though a while back which wasnt fun, torn/generally wrecked ligaments under my kneecap from an awkward crash off a jump about a year ago (knee went between handlebars and frame and landed with full bodyweight on it :( still weak to this day.
I dont intend to crash though, do you get man points for breakages/gashes? :-)

Broken nose and jaw, blood poisoning, ammnesia, multiple concusions, cracked tailbone, craked sternum, torn achillies tendon, banjaxed knee that makes it bend backwards now and again, think thats about it.

Nothing to bad, just a couple of nearly shattered kneecaps (thank f-k for kneepads), and loads of banjaxed wrists and ankles.

i have, quite miraculously never broken anything. despite all of the crashes that i have had. i have landed wrong on a bike crash and had myself tangled into the bike, fell off a scrambler and had it run over me. i came off the bike after trying to turn for a blind corner on loose gravel right after getting big air and i had a whole bunch of skin ripped off my leg. and several other crashes. oh and my knees are really messed up. after hitting it so many times after crashes.
also a scar on my hand from having it scraped along a wall
all scars no broken bones. that's what you get from growing up on a dairy farm i guess. hehe :D

Had a visit to A&E today, wrecked my arm on the ride-on lawnmower (cue non-manly comments about rideons lol). Too much pressure in rear right tyre (bad guage on compressor), boom, tyre exploded with me on it cutting the grass up the lane, blew right up through the mud guard and the shrapnel decided to have a go at my arm. Didnt actually feel it hit me which was weird but nearly passed out on my lane up to my house (was on my own ) called dad, he pulled out of a lorry hire job to come down. Went to A+E, waited (1 1/2 hours?!), x-ray, Soft tissue damage from elbow to shoulder and my elbow joint is wrecked. :( x-ray says it isnt broke though which is good :-) In sling for a week with tablets and then physio after depending on mobility. No bike, no building, no camera for a while (just finished school too :() can type though if I keep my arm still lol
Dad had a look at the mower and he said im lucky it didnt take the arm off me :-/ dear knows what would have happened if I was looking down the right side of the mower checking the hedge.
I now do not like compressors.
Time for bed, this is not going to work well :-/
