No idea on what type of hub you could get for that money, but to get a new/second hand hub laced into a existing hub by a shop will probably cost as much as a complete rear wheel. CRC don't charge for wheel builds on new wheels - but charge around £20 (not far off the price of a decent rim) to cobble together a wheel from bits.

As for the warranty - you're kidding right? (check out the vid of you casing the drop at Belvoir - general wear and tear it ain't)

Did they say why you need a new hub?
What is wrong with your current one?
What is your current hub?

The guy Mark said it was broke and it would not be worth puting a new hub in he said just to buy a new or second hand wheel!! The wheel spins and when it is nearly stoped it runs all lumpy and then stops and runs back and forward the nuts at each side of the hub axel keep comeing loose...he also said if you are good with tools have a go at it ur self but it would be risky..I dont have the bike here so can't remember the hub I think it is a shimano m 575 or something like that can't remember...but i will go to another bike shop and see if they can fix it... Thanks jonny

Forgot about the youth forum, it seems to be a place in which the normal rules of English Language don't apply!

Anyway...

From your exquisite description of the problem it's sounds like your axle might be bent or snapped. If it is a Shimano it can be replaced. Costs about a tenner for the axle and then some labour if you get a shop to do it. And no, we will not do it for you.

I'd take marks advice he's a good mechanic.
