The old step-up

Ill stick this up here because its short and sweet.
Been digging through the old videos and found one of the old step up in my back yard. Really good fun hitting that thing when the sun has set without lights :)
Monty will remember it fondly but unfortunately it is no more :(

Although I'm quite ashamed of my jumping skills back then:o
In all fairness though, you did lose most of your speed by the time you had got to the lip.. look at the size of the thing compared to jonny's fullsize bike sitting right beside it!

Yep! Im 5'7" and it was about nose height standing on the bike :-)
jumping skills? I havent seen you jumping much so I'll not comment there :-)

Im going to build it up again, the pile's shape has changed a bit and i have a line coming down the front of it so the takeoff will be lower and will send you out over that line - about 5-6' gap and a little bit more height.. so it'll be a step-up trail gap :-)

the pile's shape is a bit awkward now though, only really suitable for nice technical chutes or huckable stuff, it needs a bit of digger attention :-)
