as i broke my headset i have to grease it every 4-5 weeks. I have been meaning to do it now for a while as it has got to the stage of where it is dry and starting to make noise. But which grease should I use ? thanks again.

i just use lithium grease i think.. General motor stuff, does the job. You should probably consider a new headset for the long term though, £30 will get you a pig pro dh, and a tenner fitted!

Not a fan of the white lithium grease, it goes all crappy when it mix's with water.

I use some pink brease from halfords. It looks pretty..

I put it in my hubs
It also goes manky with ingress of water and road grit.
Very Manky

It is pretty to start with though

Why do Shimano hub seals do such a crap job of keeping water out but such a brilliant job of keeping it in?
