The Ojika ( pronounced Oh -GEEEE -Kaaaaa) has suffered from wheel problems since its introduction and was recalled from sale in Peru earlier this year. The wheel tends to suffer from "forward roll" which can cause problems, especially when stationary. Another reported fault is its tendency to unseat riders when they least expect it. Some riders reported "falling off". Commuter Cycle Today voted it the "worst possible machine for nipping in and out of work on" and failed to recommend it. But it continues to sell well in Norfolk and it does look bloody good!

They are fine assuming you dont put a spring greater than 450 on them. Any more, and the shock mounts will give. - Shame really.

Realistically should you not have started this thread before you actually went and bought one?

I have heard of a few of them snapping the swing arm at the pivot point if your run too hard a spring.

Aye it's a bit late asking now. You'll just have to find out for yourself!

Had an aniki myself. The only place i can fault it was that the rear end was a bit flexy and the original cranks rubbed the chainstays when cranking hard.

From the look of your chainstays im guessing yours is rubbing too, i overcame the problem by using a longer bottom bracket.

Other than that i really cant fault the bike

It's not as good as an SX Trail.

On second glance that thing looks like a Bullit.
