You get up, get your kit on, grab the bike, head for the door, then it starts pouring down. You throw everything back in the garage and plug in the Play Station.

Sound familier? It did to Ray.

In the summer of 1996, I bought my first mountain bike. What a life-changing experience. Until winter came. I never had such a hard time getting through the cold, wet, nasty winter months. I missed riding. What was the answer? Trainers. Videos, etc. OK, but not the same as a real ride. I asked myself, why can’t someone do a track-like scenario indoors?

Seven years later he built Ray's Indoor MTB Park (http://www.raysmtb.com/index.html)
