Craigavon Trails

Has anyone ridden the trails around the lakes at Craigavon recently? I'm wondering what condition they are in, over grown? water logged?

I haven't been down for over a year but it used to be a great night ride location, hopefully it still is

well that makes up my mind as to if i'm gonna head down there this wednesday on my day off!!!!

Is it a matter of trail neglect or just the weather recently?? :confused:

just a mixture of heavy rain, getting tore up through use and parts of the trail comprising simply soil/clay rather than the other stonier bits which are still riding fine.

Here is a quick question, i was thinking of getting out on saturday morning to the lakes, for a blast around the trail twice, blow out the cobwebs on my hardtail, but how busy does it get at the weekends? Is it worth getting up early and out before the masses flock to walk?? Is it a public carpark, does it have opening/closing times etc???
