<!--StartFragment -->February 2005 saw the go-ahead for what is believed to be the biggest proposed Mountain Bike trail building project in England. Hamsterley Trailblazers in conjunction with Forestry Commission and other funding partners have set the foundations in place to make Hamsterley Forest the premier mountain bike venue in England, to rival the established trails in Scotland and Wales. Funding for this exciting project has now exceeded the £200,000 mark and phase I of building is well under way. Trail guru Pete Laing, of 7 Stanes infamy, has been tasked with designing the new trails and skills area and is leading the way on the project’s development.

Lucky buggers.
Not to start the usual debate, as we all want the same thing, but why not here?
Because we were bad little boys and Santa doesn't give anything to bad little boys.

February 2005 saw the go-ahead for what is believed to be the biggest proposed Mountain Bike trail building project in Northern Ireland. Belvoir Beavers in conjunction with Forestry Service and other funding partners have set the foundations in place to make Belvoir Forest the premier mountain bike venue in the whole universe, to rival the established trails in Scotland and Wales. Funding for this exciting project has now exceeded the £2 mark and phase I of building is well under way. Trail guru Pete Laing, of 7 Stanes infamy, has not been tasked with designing the new trails and skills area and is not leading the way on the project’s development. "Thank God", was his official comment.
This is seen as a crucial step forward for Northern Ireland. Belvoir Beavers club chairman, Marin Breaks, said, "We're delighted to finally get these trails off the ground. We really appreciate the enthusiasm with which the Forestry Service of Northern Ireland has put into this project. We really couldn't have done it without them.
Mr Outofmy Tree, director of Environment & Recreation 'branch' of the Forestry Service, NI, said, "Sorry, who’s building what, where now?"

NIMBYs would rip them down!
We have to accept that we live in a nation of biggots that cannot for one second embrace something that is remotely different, liberal, forward looking, or isn't defined by religous or political boundaries.
Now, if we could split into religous factions we might attract some political interest. The oppressed *insert appropriate "religon"* of *insert forest name* want to keep out the evil and oppressive *insert appropriate "religon"* out of thier traditional homeland of *insert forest name*.
