WTD - very very cheap forks and chain rings

OK should not look at singletrack, just bought a giant xtc frame. Now need some seriously cheap forks budget £20 so rigids maybe? Any old project 2's about. No idea what size steerer I need. Also need some chain rings.

Quality not too important just must work. Building up as a hack bike, any tips on keeping it to a budget appreciated.

I have an old set of 2004 Vanilla Rs if you wwant them. Damping is pretty much gone. Used to run on a Giant XTC so the steerer is long enough.

Also this will hopefully free up my old Saracen (too small for me really) if your mate from Bangor is still after a bike. think it was you who mentioned it the other week.
