WTD Road bike (for the wife - honest)

She enjoys the roads and is using a GT HT with slicks but likes doing the big events (lap the lough etc) so have decided to try to source a road bike for christmas for her. She is 5'4" but long legged. She did lap the Lough on a medium Giant and it seemed to fit her well. Budget is £250ish and want soemthing fairly new modern gears etc.

Anyone seen anything about in the shops? If I dont see anything I will likely get a new OCR4.

Take a look in halfords, they had a few nice roadie machines for sale, i nearly bought one in the xmas sales last year.
