cavey? About 3 different tracks that could be hit and great parking etc. Though the push up can be tiresome!

The trails arent exactly in tip top condition at the minute with a few of the trail features meaning a dismount to clear. If its wet your gonna find that its not much fun on 2 of those trails imo - too many roots.

Rostrevor definately! If we can get an even bigger crowd than Sunday there it would be feckin class!! :D And all on big bikes (apart from those who only have a hardtail.....jimjam ;) ) would be cool too!

November 06-2007, 12:28 PM
I've just booked Saturday off - and seeing as I've a Supreme, I really should try to make it down. I've been hoping to meet up with you guys for a while (and seeing Steve is going - I wont be the oldest swinger in town :) ). Mind if I tag along?
p.s. i've got the worstest sense of direction - so I expect to get lost on the way

If you're wanting to ride to the top why not try BigWood. There's something for everyone there, and it suits any type of bike.
Steveb
November 06-2007, 01:05 PM
TBH I'd rather ride to the top, or as much as poss, regardless of where we go. I don' really care if it takes longer, it's all riding afteral, and that's what matters more than the direction your pointing. That's for me of course, other feel differently, which is cool. I'm not wanting to start a row about it!
Conor
November 06-2007, 01:32 PM
Thing is with Rostrevor, if you get a lift to the top car park you're still only half way to the top so you still get loads of riding done. I know what I'm doing!
Rostrevor, main car park, 11am.

Same runs as sunday or something different?

November 07-2007, 01:39 PM
By the sounds of it I reckon we could well be going up towards the mast, down the other side then hit the trails on down. We could go back to the car park (good bit of cycling back steve...on roads, but ah well! lol).
After that it would probably just be a case of deciding what everyone wants to do after that!
Bloom
November 07-2007, 02:16 PM
Aye, up to the very top, sheep chase to hidden DH run, then back to carpark. Then the usual trails.

Rostrevor rocks. As Malc says, there were at least 30-40 bikers in the forest at the same time. More biking cars in the car park than civilians!!!
Glad I finally hit that caravan jump. Was fun :)
Mac, when can we start helping you build trails? A bit of long single track sections and that place will be unbeatable!

Uplifts? Pah to your uplifts. For the time it took to load up, drive up and unload it was just as quick to ride.
Saying that it was very soul destroying on the 2nd climb up to have one of the NTSR overtake me, whilst pushing :( Still chuffed I rode up both times.

It took about 2 minutes to get 5 bikes in the lux. Definately room for at least 6. The rest of he time was spent eating nuts and talking crap ;-)
