well, christmas fast approaching and other comitments have forced the sale of my dh bike, it is a 2004 club roost dh8, built up two years ago for bit of fun, she is not in reali good nick, but the only damage is superfichial eg scratches, chips, peeling stickers. well here are the specs

-Club roost dh8 frame 2004 reasonable condiction a good bit or scratches and chips with for vanilla rc tf tuned shock with 450 adn 500lb springs

-2004 Marazzochi shivers, again scratched and peeling stickers but work brilliantly for what i have done

-hope 6 pot front and 4 pot rear, newer style good condition apart from the rear hydrolic cable will need replaced as it has split, and botched duct tape holds the oil in

-mrp chain device, and race face evolve dh cranks and bb with v8 pedals

-race face evolve dh bars and marrazohi integrated stem

-dmr saddle and race face seat post

-xt rear mech and shifter

-mavic d521 rear on xt hub with michelin tyre
-mavic d321 front on xt hub with maxxis high roller

I also have a seperate xtr long cage rear mech and two xt shifters and fox rampage full face helmet all in brand new condition

i would be looking around 500 for the full bike will throw in a few tires, shock pump, fox helmet, and a few other bits and bobs, otherwise i am willing to split the bike if everything gets sold

pictures will follow in afew mins when flickr finishes uploading them

well there are a few wee things need fixed, you need a new rear mech but i have thrown in a brand new xt or xtr rear mech, the bottom bracket needed tightened but i shall do that before sale, and the brake cable shall nt cost ya much if u know how to fit and bleed them, i think its a medium, i am 6'2 and fits me fine found it easy to throw about and the like

I dunno. Steve, could you tell how much it would cost to fix this up or would you need to see it? (I wouldn't have a clue how to bleed them etc.).

i cant see it being too much to be honest depends on how good a cable u get and bleeding them can be done your self with a little research, as for the rear mech and shifter these will need replaced as well but as stated i will throw in my brand new ones as for ya
