Hi guys,

Just moved into my first house (new build) and want to get internet connected. The phone line isnt conntected yet which needs doing and might affect the choice of internet provider.

Would probably need to use the phone as well.
TV is not so important as I have a freeview box but if the package was right...

I'm totally stumped the provider websites are jammed and seem to hide any small print and the last thing I want is to get stung.

Advice please....

You should start with this....

if it's a new build, there may not be cable in yet for example

Just got sky myself. Can't complain. 6 tv packages (no sky sports or sky movies but that gives me an excuse for the pub), up to 8Mb broadband (currently my line only supports up to 3.5Mb which is enough for now), and the phone (alledgedly free evening + weekend + 5% cheaper mobile calls compared with BT) all for £26 a month.

You can get cheaper internet from virgin for a tenner a month at 2Mb but their tv system is a big pile of it and branson is rumoured to be selling up soon.

Got the mate to recommend me and pulled £50 M&S vouchers, half price install (£15) and £10 credit which made my first bill £16.
