Ironhides arm alone has over 10,000....yes ten thousand individual parts. Polygon count for each transformer would be well in excess of a million polys.

With good reason. It was done as a collaboration/trail run to see how convincing they could get it to work for the film.

So which one's the tape deck?

Im pretty sure thats not really correct. None of the people involved with the citreon add had anything to do directly with the film, though its fair to say the add helped generate a lot of hype that launched the film into pre-production and no doubt they were trying to develop a style for a live action transformer. Also the guy who directed the cirtreon add Neil Blomkamp was bandied about as a possible director for the film but that was just internet pie in the sky. He is however gonna be directing the live action adaptation of Halo, so there ya go!

I stand corrected ;) Had heard it somewhere, thought it was Computer Arts or somewhere like that but obviously not. Doh!

yeah, thats what I was pointing out. Why would a transformer need a wang anyway? Surely It would be to cover some sort of 'USB dongle' or something of that ilk???

answers on a postcard for various names for robot rude bits......

Coming out of Spiderman 3, I saw a guy wearing the coolest t-shirt I've seen for ages. It just had an Autobot symbol, with a comedy glasses/nose/moustache disguise on it, with the lag line below it reading "Robots in Disguise". Classic.

Did he also have the same pained, bored, upset look on his face I did when I came out of Spiderman 3? Forgot I havent had a good rant about that film yet... :-) Looking forward to Transformers though!

Aye, all i've heard about SpiderMan 3 is how crap it is. Don't know if i could even be bothered going to see it now. How annoying.

Really looking forward to this Transformers, it's good to see a proper trailer at last.

As for Spiderman3, I've heard mixed reviews about it. Some people love it and reckon it's the best of the 3 and others seem to be really dissapointed. I'll just go see it this weekend and make up my own mind about it.

awesome movie - but why a 12 - surely more flesh from her would have been good. cracking test for your surround sound too!
